About this project
Located in the growing district of Al Suyoh, Sharjah, this mosque is conceived as a modern interpretation of Islamic architecture rooted in the values of the Sharjah Awqaf Islamic Affairs Department. The design balances spiritual dignity with contemporary clarity, creating a place of worship that serves both faith and community.
The mosque’s clean white stone façade reflects purity and serenity, while geometric patterns inspired by Islamic art reinforce cultural identity without excess ornamentation. Large vertical openings allow natural light to enter prayer spaces, enhancing spiritual focus and reducing energy consumption.
Beyond daily prayers, the mosque acts as a community anchor, supporting the Awqaf mission of sustaining mosques as centers for worship, learning, and social cohesion—aligned with Sharjah’s vision of preserving Islamic heritage while embracing modern development.
Awqaf & Islamic Affairs – Project Alignment: This project is designed in accordance with the Sharjah Awqaf Islamic Affairs Department principles:
